"American Maid" Nose Art for P-51D Mustang Plane

The client was a pilot of a 3/4-scale WWII P-51D Mustang—the "America Maid." I was commissioned to make the nose art for the aircraft. The client wanted a fusion of Betty Boop and USO performers. Part of the brief was to keep the risque spirit of nose art without being explicit.
